5th toe condition ?

When I was young, my parents took me to a podiatrist for flat feet and weak ankles that turned inward. I was given inserts, which I didn't wear for very long. The ankle problems have gotten worse over time but as an adult I started noticing another problem.

I stand and walk on the outside of the fifth toes, rather than the bottom. Aesthetically, I find it embarrassing. Fuctionally, I don't know if it's a result of, or a contributing factor to my flat feet, or if it's completely unrelated. I wasn't diagnosed with anything related to that, as a child, so it's possible that it's developed over time. Is there a name for this and what is the treatment?

DocPod 		Sounds like an "adductovarus fifth" - there is not really a lot that can be done other than surgery. A splint can be tried, but do need to be worn for a long time and they often recur.
