Difference between symptoms of Neuroma & CRPS ?

I suspect that I have a neuroma in my foot for 4 months now and need to know whether this can be misdiagnosed as CRPS.?All my symptoms correspond to neuroma and the medical doctor diagnosed " soft tissue damage" in the forefoot. A podiatrist suggested CRPS but I have a localised area of pain on the ball of the foot, the size of a dime which radiates up the third and second toe ,ending in numbness. It doesn't sound like CRPS.I've had 2 x-rays,there are no fractures. Thanks for any help.

Certainly does not sound like CRPS. But, difficult to be definitive without seeing it.
