Morton's Neuroma treated with Dexamethasone ?

I'll start off with "Excruciating Pain"
Being treated with Dexamethasone - Foot injections of 2% lidocaine - 1% mg Dexamethasone on both feet between middle toe an next. Dr. states we need to fix the root cause that is the fat incasing the nerve which developed to protect itself. The aim is to reduce/eliminate the incasing which will decease pressure on the nerve. the Dr. also mentioned each individual response differently it could take two session (injections) or ten or more all on me. I had, so far, two sessions and the pain has subsided about 90% - feels wonderful. I think or know its really the lidocaine at work but he, the Doctor is encourage with my progress. He even said maybe two more session and we wait it out and see how I'm doing. The issue I have I can not find info on the web regarding specifically this treatment Dexamethasone. Any thoughts, warnings, cheering? Your advise is needed, Thank you...

DocPod 		Corticosteroids are widely used for morton's neuroma.
There are plenty of published studies on it.

Thanks for the update... I tried to zoom in specifically on the treatment/name of the injection and came up zero. Can you kindly provide a site that I can review?
