One foot getting round and itchy nodules that break open... ?

My right foot it getting these round, hard, itchy nodules that break open to reveal cracks. This only happens on the sole of my foot and sides of my toes. Not between my toes, on my actual toes. The nodules itch like crazy until I inevitable scratch them open in my sleep, sometimes they keep me awake. It goes away but comes back if I’m stressed. Benadryl sometimes helps. It has not been helped at all by athletes foot remedies. I have attached a picture to this question of the side of my big toe, where one of these nodules has broken open and it is partially healed. The nodules are skin colored. [image width=0]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v237/Oogiesbettas/48EAD495-E21E-432B-9503-4BB897A3EBD1.jpeg[/image]

It is most likely a tinea/fungal infection/athletes foot - you probably need to experiment with different treatments to see which active ingredient is most effective. If that does not help, then get it tested to see which one would be best.
Less likely, it could be psoriasis
