Question about 5th metatarsal ?

At the end of the 5th metatarsal bone on the Backside of my foot the bone sticks out a lot more than other peoples feet. I only have two problems I want to address. The first one is that it hurts sometimes when I put on shoes because there is always pressure on it from the inside of my shoe. For example when i wear Vans I can see the bone up against the shoe. The second problem is that I dont like the way it looks. I dont like it because it looks ugly and makes my foot look like its curved. It is unattractive, I find it embarrassing and dont really like to take my shoes off when other people are around. Im Pretty sure its just normal anatomy for my foot to develop like that, but is there any way to maybe have surgery to make it so that bone dosent stick out as much? Its not a health problem I dont think, but it definitely bugs me alot.

Sounds like a tailors bunion. Surgery is commonly done for them if they are a problem.
