Sensitive bruised feeling in ball of right foot. ?

I am 63 years old, have been training for and running marathons for 8 years. I also coach high school soccer and probably put 3 - 5 days a week on the soccer field. I developed a Morton's Neuroma about 3 years ago on my left foot. I have worked through this and still have some minor pains, but it doesn't stop me. My main issue is recently I have developed a bruised feeling in the middle of the ball part of my right foot. I use inserts to cushion, but it seems to be getting worse. I don't want to stop running, because I feel great from the excersize and it helps me keep up with the soccer.

Without looking at you, its hard to say, but often that 'bruised' feeling is indicative of plantar plate dysfunction - it might pay to look into that.
