What is going on with my heel??

Hello,

I stubbed my 4th toe (next to the pinky) really hard last Saturday. It turned black and blue and was extremely sore. It is getting better although still a little sore to the touch but what I am concerned about is i have this really weird and painful pulling sensation (like a rubber band) on the right side of my heel bone (look at the back of foot when standing flat on the floor and the pain is touching the floor between the ankle and the very back of the foot) when I am walking or put my foot straight when sitting down. When it is not straight it is more of a burning feeling. There are no bumps or anything I can feel there nor is there anything visable.

Any ideas on what is going on? How do I make it stop?

Thank you!

Hard to say without seeing it. best guess is that it is just a "strain" from the change in the way you walk due to the pain in the toe. if that is the case, then its probably not an issue.

It would be helpful if you can work out exactly what issue the pain is in, what makes it worse and what helps?
