toenail not healing after ingrown toenail removal ?

had ingrown toenail removed end of Aug 2015, toenail is still not healed, extremely painful, looks really bad, cannot walk, wear shoes, put socks, bandages, sheets or anything else near it let alone touch it at this point, what is the problem, 7 mos to heal a toe, seems a bit excessive, please help?

DocPod 		Hard to say without seeing it and knowing exactly what was done to remove it.
Get back to the clinician that did it or get a second opinion.
