When I go to the podiatrist it hurts when he cuts the skin off my bunion and other areas around my foot. He doesn't seem to care about how much pain it causes me. He even sometimes cuts the skin and pulls it off causing extreme pain. It is very painful but yet he doesn't seem to care. I have talked to other patients and they don't understand why he doesn't use some type of topical numbing spray. Are there things like that that he could use with his patients to make it less painful or should we be expected to take the pain due to the nature of cutting on the feet around bunions and etc. I just don't know if i can take going though any more cutting with him, as he seems to not care. It is almost like going to the dentist without receiving Novocaine. I feel bad because I like the doctor, but he just doesn't seem to care about the pain that he is inflicting on me. Any advice, and information would be highly appreciated.

DocPod 		Get another Podiatrist. It should not be painful if its done properly.
