why do my socks bunch up?

I've been to a VA Podiatrist-no luck. Tried various shoes, new custom footbeds, tighter socks and nothing works. Barefoot is ok , and pulling up my socks helps for a short time. Only the right foot. Starts at the toes and eventually under the ball of my foot. Going on for a year now

DocPod 		Thats a new one for me! Never had anyone ask me that in 30yrs!

I can only guess - perhaps its the shape/dimensions of the foot relative to the sock.
