Toe walking child ?

My 4 yr old child tends to walk around on her toes all the time. I have searched around and all I can find on toe walking are a whole lot of nerve or autism problems that shoe does not have. Any ideas what might be causing the toe walking?

DocPod 		Most likely there is nothing to worry about. Short kids just want to be taller. If your child can get the heel down to the ground and there is a full range of motion at the ankle joint and there is no signs of anything neurological, then assume they will get over it.

The only concern is ruling out a potential neuro or behavioral problem that may underpin it. I do suggest that you get it checked out for that reason.
