leg pain after shopping all day ?

I am a 26 year old female and recently I've had this pain in my left leg after being out and about all day shopping and walking. I previously had this pain, but it was caused, I believe, by flip flops. I stopped wearing flip flips and the pain always went away after being off of it through the night. However, the pain I have now, is not going away either with Tylenol or rest. It has stayed below my knee and I feel it everywhere in my lower leg but mainly on the left side of my shin. Any idea why this is happening or how to prevent it so that I can still shop like I want to?
