Alcohol increases the risk for an attack of gout.

Those who are alcoholics, also tend to have poor diets, so this also increases the risk

no. gout is from uric acid deposits. has nothing to do with alcohol consumption. alcohol affects your liver ....gout is a sign of kidney problems

I believe its possible because alcohol weakens the immune system and a weak immune system will cause gout.
