I'm susceptible to gout?

Can I eat nachos?
I AM susceptible to gout. It's not a question. The question is if I can eat nachos. thank u

Moderator 		Find out what triggers your gout some say tomato will trigger an attack but my husband suffers gout & tomato doesn't trigger his.So if tomato triggers yours & there is tomato in your nachos then eating nachos isn't a good idea. Fish triggers my husbands gout best suggestion is work out what foods trigger an attack & avoid those foods. Sorry if that isn't what you wanted to hear but each person has different triggers & only you can learn those painful lessons to find your triggers. Check out these sites to better understand what possible triggers there are & how to track down your triggers.

Moderator 		Do your nachos have cheese, beef, salt? Probably better stay away.

The old addage too much of anything is bad. If you have nachos once a month, you're probably fine. But the bigger question is, what do you eat daily? What do you drink daily?

Stay away from beer and coffee. Drink tons of water and 100% fruit juice.
