Don't eat the food that you think brought the gout on. Mine was both asparagus and venison. I cannot eat either or I'm in terrible pain. Eating a few cherries a day is suppose to keep the gout away.

.If you're able to, soak in a tub with epsom salt in the water. Take generic ibuprofen.
