why is there burning in the bottom of my heel?

I know what a neuroma is because I have had surgery for it. This burning is in the front most part of my heel.

There could be any number of reasons for burning. I suspect in yoru case (without examining you) that the buring is due to some damage that was done to teh nerve when the neuroma was removed.
