Is gout making my heels sore?

I have had gout for 20 years and recently developed pain in my heels. Can you get gout there? I did a search and could not find much information except this: http://www.goutonline.net/showthread.php?t=1835

Hey! first of all I have to tell that Im 18 and I have never had a boyfriend (which means I have never been kissed), and I also got to say that in general people dont believe me and find that really weird, and might think I have a problem or smth, cuz they say Im really pretty and all, so how could noone ever ask me to go out with them! Of course they did but I just never liked someone that much and I dont know, I was always looking for smth serious so Im waiting for the right one =). Yeah I know might sound kinda stupid, but Im kinda complicated anywayss! Well whatever! There's this guy I met 2 years ago in my summer holiday. It was the first and only time I saw him "live" and we didnt really had time to talk, so he just asked me for my email address. He lives in another country than mine so we've been talkin online since two years now , just seeing each other on web cam sometimes (while these 2 years, there were times when we didnt talked for months, cuz often we used to block each other on msn,lol,cuz

my father unfortunately suffers from gout. . . and is a heart patient. Pretty much his heart friendly diet is bad for his gout and a gout friendly diet is bad for his heart. . . . He's had one gout attack a while back. And since summer started, he's had 4-5 attacks . . . . his diet has not changed and am wondering why this is happening. He doesn't eat organ mean or red meat either

What over the counter medications can I take to get rid of gout... and the pain of it.... I dont drink and I watch what i eat and i still somehow get gout... Is there any thing I can do... I can not see a doctor because my insurance has bee cancelled.

Is gout pain constant or does it flair up at times?

I've had pain in my left big toe all of 2008 and 2009. There were only 2 weeks where it wasn't noticeable. I haven't gone to a podiatrist yet. No insurance. I think it's gout, though my toe isn't super swollen like some pics I've seen online. There are days when my shoe feels tighter, so I know there is some swelling. The pain is constant but I've managed. Sometimes it gets bad and feels like laser or lightning spiraling from the toe. If it goes to that level all the time, I don't know how I'd cope. How expensive are the anti-inflammation meds? And even with meds, is gout something that's never cured?

My grandfather has been diagnosed with gout about three months ago, and began to receive treatment. He was placed on Allopurinol and Colchicille and began to suffer side effects to the Allopurinol. He suffered huge weigh loss and his hemoglobin dropped. He was taken off of the Allopurinol and his hemoglobin levels went back to normal. Now his feet and legs have swollen to a plity and passes out frequently. A new symptom that has a risen is, shaking spells where he seems as though he is suffering a seizure but is responsive. This has made us believe that he might be suffering something neurological. If anyone can help us we would be very thankful.

My husband has gout and nothing the doctors give him works in fact the steroids they give him makes his entire body feel awful to the point he can't even move. my husband is 22 years old, he is 6'0 and weight 240 pound hes a big man. he doesnt like to eat healthy food fruit and veggies.. his family has health problem with stroke, gout, diabates , high blood pressure.. my husband, hes have been having pain all of his joint, on his elbow, toes, on his hand, everywhere, this was the worst one he has, he does sometime has gout attack on his toe , then elbow but now its getting worst. and went to the doctor to take blood test, they dont see if he has gout. just inflammation. but the doctor didnt explain to us why he has it or what food to stop and how to prevent for not to getting gout. i have two toddler at home and he cant even barely help me because he s in so much pain.. he has gout on every joint he has right now since a month, any advice to stop the pain??? im thinking about joining gym for him will that help to avoid gouts and other things that his family has?

stop byV.A. see the cases afriend of mine took gout med. for ten yr 's then new doc said he did not have gout still had same syptoms i got him to stop drinking it for 5 mouths now all syptoms are gone doc don't know what to say

I had a drug test and the results stated that there was no uric acid in my urine. This really concerns me. According to my research, if I have gout, there could be no uric acid in my urine. Does anyone else have any ideas?
